To see life as fun
Katherine and Devin are up from California for a few days. We had them over to check out the apartment, the pets, and have Mango Chicken. I added orange juice to the recipe, and I think it turned out even tastier. Horray!
I was woken up Sunday night/Monday morning with a calf cramp. I thrashed around for a while, disoriented and unable to shake off my dreams. Carl apparently thought I was having a vivid nightmare, and threw an arm around me. I eventually got up and walked it off. Last night, I mentioned it to the chiropractor while he was checking the alignment of my spine, theorizing that maybe it was because I was dehydrated. He mentioned that my hip was out, and that’s probably what caused it. He worked on it for a while, popped my neck and two ribs, and sent me on my merry little way. As much as I feared it last night, I had no cause for concern. No calf cramps to wake me in the early morning hours.
I picked up a cold of some sort while in Yakima. Last night, I emailed into work with a sick note. I’m very glad I did. I awoke with the feeling that someone had my throat in their hands. Talking is difficult.  Oh well. This gives me longer to work on my Descriptive Essay for English 101, rough draft due for peer edits tonight.
Speaking of that essay, I should get on that. I’ll have some pictures from our wine tasting trip to post later on.
