There are not enough meals in the day to satisfy my craving to cook

I’ve had the thought (in the title) for a few months now.

Anyway, I’ve been on a heavy Mexican kick lately after making the chicken mole, but that’s almost gone and it’s time to move on. Since the weather has turned to shiiiiiiit (read: typical Seattle spring weather), I’m in the mood to hang out in the kitchen and bake. I’m gearing up to start a batch of banana muffins and I think I will experiment at the same time with brioche, using leftover charoset from Passover as a filling (think cinnamon rolls…oh in fact, I can whip up a light glaze for on top of the brioche as well).

Tonight or tomorrow night, Carl and I are going to try to make a batch of homemade chorizo. I picked up a 4lb chunk of pork to use. I’ll definitely post photos of the experiment.

Tonight’s dinner: a simple dal with collard greens.

On Friday, Carl is going in to get his wisdom teeth out, so it’ll be blended soup (we have an acorn squash coming in our CSA box on Thursday) and other soft foods through the rest of the weekend.

All this great food and I hardly ever see you share a recipe. Better get to posting them or we’ll all just assume you’ve been posting pics of the luscious food you order in!

I have a backlog of about 5 recipes to post in the next day or two!
