Wesa: Question…Did your coffee taste funny
Carl: Nope, but then again, I wasn’t really paying attention
Wesa: Huh. I only drank about 1/3 of mine, it tasted really off, so I thought the beans were old, picked up a new bag at Ladro with a tall drip (which also tasted a bit off, kind of fruity). We were almost out anyway.
Carl: Fruity isn’t off, it’s just a different character of some coffees. Higher acidity ones I think
Wesa: But it didn’t taste like this while I was gone, or it’s just so pronounced vs the swill I drank over the weekend.
Carl: Lol, that’s probably it.
Wesa: hrm
Carl: Do I even need to tell you how awesome it is that my wife calls the coffee in Boston “swill”? You are sooooo Seattle sometimes it hurts.
