Froze the rest of the rainbow chard harvest for soups.
Wednesday, planting another round of beets, spinach, turnips and radishes.
Currently have 6 pounds of peaches ripening on my counter for jam this week (probably tomorrow).
Next, $20 for 26lb box of peaches at the fruit stand. Going to freeze some, and can the rest of the peach halves in big jars.
Cleaned out the fridge/freezer to make room for more frozen goods. How did we end up with 3 containers of ketchup? This is being remedied.
Found a head of red leaf lettuce, which is now washed and drying on the counter. Salads and tostadas this week!
Next week, we start making apple butter and mustards.
